Whitley's Guide is a magazine and spectrum show owned by Gallivan Publishing, featuring reviews and in-depth analytics on ships, vehicles, and components. Editors require writers to review products as objectively as possible when testing them. It has been in continuous print since its founding in 2856.[1]

In 2950, the magazine partnered with Terra Spectrum Broadcasting to launch a show by the same name, hosted by Jax McCleary and on one occasion Jimmy, his producer. Although McCleary’s enthusiastic style is a departure from the serious tone of the print magazine, his popularity with spacecraft enthusiasts made him the network’s first and only choice as host.[1]
